Nudge privacy policy
Last updated 11 October 2026
This policy describes the Nudge reminder app on iPhone and Android. Nudge keeps your reminders on your device. There is no Nudge account.
Reminders
When you create a reminder, Nudge stores the words, the time, whether it repeats, and whether it is done. Language and color choices are stored the same way. This stays on your phone. Nudge does not upload reminders to a server, and it does not sell them.
Deleting a reminder removes it from the app. Deleting Nudge removes the reminders it stored. If you use your phone’s backup, such as iCloud or Android backup, that backup may include this data. Apple or Google handles that backup under their own terms.
Microphone and speech
The microphone is used only when you tap Speak.
On iPhone, Nudge uses Apple’s speech recognition to turn what you say into text. Apple may process that audio on your device or on Apple’s servers, depending on your device and language. Nudge keeps the text. It does not keep the recording.
On Android, Nudge asks the speech recognizer on your phone, usually Google, to turn what you say into text. That service may process the audio under its own privacy policy. Nudge receives the written words and stores them on the device. It does not receive or store the recording.
Notifications
Nudge schedules a notification on your device so a reminder can alert you. These alerts are created on the phone. Nudge does not use a push server.
What Nudge does not do
Nudge does not show ads, does not use analytics, and does not ask you to sign in. It does not share your reminders with other people or companies. The only time speech leaves the phone is when you tap Speak and the speech service on that platform processes the audio, as described above.
Children
Nudge is not directed at children under 13.
